Monaco Watches

This luxury timepiece was immortalized by legendary badass Steve McQueen in Le Mans in 1970, the TAG Heuer Monaco 1969 was released as a honor to the prestigious circuit whose original track is a very special experience for drivers. In 1969, in honor of this unique Grand Prix, TAG Heuer launched a chronograph with a new design. With its water-resistant square case, housing the world’s first automatic chronograph movement with a microrotor (the first in watchmaking history). This timepiece is something more then just a watch. Steve McQueen had fellt just like you a strong recognition with this rebellious watch and in 1970 chose to wear it in the film “Le Mans”, as a dedication to motor racing. It is quite impressing that two of the most legendary actors of the seventies both made watches legenday as well. The other actor except from Steve McQueen is Paul Newman and his Rolex, Daytona Paul Newman Edition.
